Ill See You Again Army Song

"Oh, my friend, practise you have ones shut to you who have taken their journey to heaven?     They are safe with the Lord, God's Word is true – can't you hear your loved 1 say?  I'll see y'all again, I'll see you once more, I'll see you in glory someday.          For now, it'south farewell- don't sorrow or sigh –  I'll see yous in glory someday."

I first heard this vocal sung years agone by Ray Hart – post-obit the testimony of John R Rice. There are three verses to the vocal, with this one being the last one. The outset verse talked most John R Rice'southward mom. She had passed abroad when he was a young kid.  The 2nd verse talked about our Lord leaving the disciples and ascending  to heaven – letting them know that He would see them again anytime.  But, this last verse became special to me at the age of 12 years old, and has became special a few times over once again since that time.

When I was 11 years old, my sis went dwelling to be with the Lord – God chose to take her to heaven at the age of 2 ane/2 months erstwhile. That was my starting time encounter with a shut family member dying.  Near 2 and a one-half years agone, my grandmother went on to celebrity, also.  She was a very special lady to and then many – In so many ways, everyone that was a function of her family, has her to exist thankful for. (Her story can be read in a previous mail)

Just just recently, three weeks ago yesterday, heaven gained another groovy man.  Vic Sinz, my father-in-police force – known to united states of america all as 'Papa,' "went abode".  Papa had been in and out of the infirmary a lot over the previous six months – it seemed every bit if there was always something unlike going wrong, and doctors were puzzled.  Only i thing was for sure – Papa e'er wanted to go home.

In the summer of 1975, a man stopped by the Sinz house to invite three footling kids to Holiday Bible Schoolhouse. The parents agreed to permit them attend VBS at Whitestown Road Baptist Church building  (a Southern Baptist Church building). But, the man that invited them to VBS did not terminate there. He continued to finish past and visit – Papa would try to hibernate from him or brand him remember they weren't there.  Once, the family came dwelling from town to find this man knocking at their door – Papa drove around the cake until he left ☺ Just this man, John Stair, did non surrender. John continued to visit – and his persistence paid off.  In December of 1975, Papa and his wife, "Mimi", trusted Christ every bit their Savior.

Papa immediately turned from the lifestyle that he was living for the devil, and started living a life for the Lord. He was concerned about the Conservancy of his children. His only son, Scott, trusted Christ every bit his personal Savior in October of 1976, at the age of 5 years onetime. I am thankful to God for this – As this is the man that God would have me to marry someday.

Papa'due south witnessing for the Lord did not end at that place. He was always passing out tracts and telling others about Christ. At the ARMCO Steel Mill, where he worked until he retired, he was known equally the "Preacher".  Even, as he lay in the hospital, he was passing out tracts and telling others nearly Jesus' love for them. In fact, when his pastor went up to the hospital, the mean solar day that he passed abroad, the nurses came up to Pastor Ward and handed him Papa'so Bible and said: "We want to brand sure that the family gets this. We know how special it was to him. And, we put all of his 'little Bibles' in the front of his Bible." Papa was all of the nurse's and doctor's favorite patient.  He was kind and very beholden for all they did for him. They loved him – they all cried when he passed. Papa lived his life in a way that was pleasing and honoring to the Lord, start and foremost.

Secondly, Papa loved his married woman very much. He always took extra special care of her. Their love never ended. They were married for 56 years – considering of the Lord, they were able to take a loving marriage.

Thirdly, he loved his children. My husband has soooooo many memories with his dad. Whether information technology was hunting together, edifice things with wood, or shooting bows and guns – there was a lot of time spent together. My husband has a lot of skillful memories that will last for many years to come.

Lastly, Papa loved each and every one of his grandchildren. He prayed for them all and taught them each and then much with the fourth dimension that he spent with them. Whether information technology was skeet shooting, making whirly gigs, shooting bows, playing pool in the basement, angling out in their gunkhole on Lake Arthur, having picnics, going to the park, riding bikes, roasting marshmallows in the backyard, and on and on I could go – he loved his grandchildren. And each 1 of them have some very special memories that they volition always treasure in their hearts forever.

A day or two earlier Papa went to Glory, he told Pastor Ward – "Pastor, if I dice, tell everyone that I 'went home'."  Papa is "Home" now. Nosotros sure do miss him, merely nosotros are all thankful that we KNOW that we will see him once more someday.

I'll see you again, I'll see you over again, I'll see you in glory anytime.  For at present, it's cheerio, don't sorrow or sigh, I'll encounter you in glory someday.

I woke this morning with this song on my mind, and I thought I would share this with you. I hope information technology is an encouragement to you in one manner or another. If information technology is, please let me know how it was a blessing or encouragement to you.

I am blest beyond what I deserve. God has given me a wonderful husband and four children who love the Lord. God has placed u.s.a. in the cute state of Idaho where my married man, Scott, is the pastor of Mountain Valley Baptist Church. The purpose of my page is to honor and glorify God and encourage others in their walk with God. View all posts by mountainvalleytimesblog
